Dear Alumni,
We would like to share with you some outstanding achievements that Jubileans achieved in inter-school competitions recently. We are going to have three teams of students representing HK to join regional / world competitions. Let's give a big applause to our younger brothers and sisters for the achievements.

1. Our school joined the 「中國語文菁英計劃」which is an inter-school Chinese Language competition organized by the Gifted Education Section of the EDB. Our F.3 student Lin Kai Chun and the school were very honoured to sweep the following awards:
· 中華文化問答比賽亞軍
· 團體寫作比賽冠軍
· 菁英金獎
· 即席辯論比賽冠軍
· 菁英之星狀元
· 才藝表演比賽冠軍
Kai Chun will be given the opportunity to represent HK in Beijing for an exchange program. In addition, Kai Chun also entered the final round of 中國中學生作文大賽; he will represent HK in Henan in the final round of the competition held in China.
2. In the World Scholars Cup, an academic competition involving 6 different subject areas: Science, History, Social Studies, Literature, Art & Music and an additional specialty area, 15 of our Jubileans participated in the competition for the first time. They competed against students from top local and international schools and outperformed many of their counterparts qualifying them to enter the Global Round to be held overseas this August. They received the following awards:

· Top Debater Silver Award
· Scholars Bowl Silver Award
· Writing Silver Award
· Art Challenge Gold Award
· Special Area Silver Award
· Social Science Silver Award
· Top Debate Team Award
· Top Team Writing Award

3. In the Odyssey of the Mind, an international creative problem-solving competition with more than 40 years of history, our F.5 team got the 1st runner-up in Problem 3. The competition requires participants to apply their STEM knowledge together with their creativity and artistic sense to solve problems under a lot of constraints. They are eligible to be one of the representing teams for HK to join the World Finals, which will be held in late May this year at Michigan State University in the USA. 1. 「中國語文菁英計劃」為校際中國語文比賽，是由教育局資優教育組委託中國語文教育研究學會舉辦。母校的中三學生連啟晉橫掃以下獎項:

· 才藝表演比賽冠軍
啟晉將代表香港出席北京的交流課程，同時代表香港參加在河南省舉行的中國中學生作文大賽決賽。

2. 在 World Scholars Cup，圍繞六個不同學科的比賽: 科學、歷史、社會科學、文學、藝術與科學及一個附加的特別範疇。母校有15 名學生第一次參與是次比賽，與不同本地及國際學校競賽，成功進入將在本年八月在海外舉辦的全球決賽。是次比賽中，同學們獲得了以下獎項

3. 在In the Odyssey of the Mind ，有40年歷史的國際創意解題比賽中，比賽中，參加者需要使用STEM 知識配合創意及藝術在眾多限制下解決問題。
母校中五團隊於第三題中取得了第二名的成績，他們將代表香港參加在五月底在美國密歇根州立大學(Michigan State University )舉行之全球決賽
