Announcement of the Retirement of Dr. WONG Kwok Chun

It is with both gratitude and sadness that we announce the retirement of our School Supervisor, Dr. WONG Kwok Chun, effective September 1, 2024. For the past 23 years, Dr. WONG has been an invaluable member of the IMC Cabinet and inspiring leader at Bishop Hall Jubilee School. His unwavering dedication to academic excellence, student achievements, and school development has been instrumental in shaping our school into the renowned EMI secondary school it is today.

Dr. WONG's exceptional skills, collaborative spirit, and genuine care for the wellbeing of our entire school community have left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege of working with him, including 4 charismatic Principals. During his tenure, the School has nurtured remarkable students who have consistently achieved excellent results in public examinations, solidifying our school's reputation as one of the leading schools in Kowloon Tong District. Many of our graduates have further gone on to establish successful careers, proudly connecting their accomplishments to the strong foundation they received at their alma mater.

Additionally, Dr. WONG played a pivotal role in transforming our School Management Committee (SMC) into an Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) and establishing the Bishop Hall Jubilee School Foundation Limited. His architectural expertise has been invaluable in guiding various school improvement projects, enhancing the physical infrastructure and providing innovative spaces to support our educational journey.

As we bid farewell to Dr. WONG, we are pleased to welcome our alumnus, Mr. LEE Tin Fan, as our new school supervisor effective September 1, 2024. We are confident that Mr. LEE will build upon the strong foundation laid by Dr. WONG and continue to steer the School towards new heights of excellence.

On behalf of the IMC and the School, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for Dr. WONG's remarkable contributions. While we will deeply miss his leadership and guidance, we are thrilled for him as he embarks on this new chapter. We are confident that the legacy he leaves behind will continue to shape the bright future of our School under the leadership of Mr. LEE.
