Dear Fellow Members,

INVITATION FOR NOMINATION FOR CANDIDATES OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER ELECTION

The term of the present Executive Committee members will end at the conclusion of the annual general meeting which is expected to be held in October this year. I am pleased to invite you to run for the election of Executive Committee members to be held at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

Under the Alumni’s Articles of Association, to be eligible for election as an Executive Committee member, the candidate must

a)       be a Voting Member (i.e. Ordinary Member other than one who at the relevant time, is a student of the School) of the “Alumni”;

b)      be nominated by two Voting Members of the “Alumni”; and

c)       consent to be elected as an Executive Committee Member.

In addition, the law prohibits any person below the age of 18 from acting as an Executive Committee Member of the Alumni.

A nomination form has been uploaded to the Alumni’s website at bhjsalumni.com. Interested parties may download the form for completion. To be effective, completed nomination forms should reach the Alumni’s registered office at 2C Oxford Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong before 5pm, 19 September 2022. To ensure prompt processing of your nomination form, please mark the envelope with “2022 BHJS Alumni Executive Committee Election – Nomination Form”.

The development of the Alumni requires contribution of talent, experience and professional knowledge by our fellow members. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your service in making the Alumni a success.
