The term of the present Executive Committee members will end at the conclusion of the annual general meeting which is expected to be held in mid-November this year. I am pleased to invite you running the election of Executive Committee members to be held at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

Under the Alumni’s Articles of Association, to be eligible for election as an Executive Committee member, the candidate must

a) be a Voting Member (i.e. Ordinary Member other than one who at the relevant time, is a student of the School) of the Alumni;

b)be nominated by two Voting Members; and

c)consent to be elected as an Executive Committee Member.

In addition, the law prohibits any person below the age of 18 from acting as an Executive Committee Member of the Alumni.

A form of nomination has been uploaded to the Alumni's website at bhjsalumni.com. Interested parties may download the zorm for comzletion. To be effective, completed nomination forms should reach the Alumni's registered at 2C Oxford Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong before 5pm, Tuesday, 25 October 2016. To ensure prompt processing of you nomination form, please mark an envelop with "2016 Executive Committee Election – Nomination Form".
