The BHJS alumni association has been organizing a mentorship programme for BHJS students since 2004. This mentorship programme will be replaced by a new project called the J-Link in this school year. The aim of the J-Link is to provide more comprehensive support to students in the new 3-3-4 system. The support comes in 2 areas, one on the life and career aspect, and the other on the study aspect. . On the life and career aspect, we already have a number of alumni enrolled as advisers. A big thank you to them. . On the study aspect, the J-Link committee would like to invite more alumni to join as IES advisers. IES (Independent Enquiry Study) is a project required by the Liberal Study subject under the new 3-3-4 system. In doing their IES, students carry out a focused enquiry into a contemporary social issue that they are interested in. As an IES adviser, you may assist students in areas such as providing information on the subject they are researching about, guiding them in data collection and data analysis. Alumni in all fields of professions are needed as the topics of IES projects are very diverse. Please contact Michael Liu at kinwaliu@netvigator.com or Wilma Leung at.wilmaleung@gmail.com if you are interested to join. |
